In 2026, Airstream introduced the standard Advanced Power System to its luxurious lineup of Interstate and Atlas Touring Coaches. A massive battery system, powerful solar capacity, and an off-grid ready inverter mean no matter where you travel, you’re taking comfort along for the ride. For even more off-grid power potential, Interstate 19GT can be upgraded with the optional dealer-installed Advanced Power Plus system.

Advanced Power System Features

• 10.3 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of usable battery capacity, capable of powering the A/C for 8 to 10 hours without relying on shore power or generators  

• A single-fuel energy system powered by the diesel fuel already in the vehicle’s tank  

• An all-in-one heating and hot water system that delivers consistent interior warmth and on-demand hot water 

• Low Speed Charging with an alternator that delivers up to 3,000 watts of charging power at low or no speed 

• Up to 400 Watts of solar charging capacity (depending on the model) with external solar ports for additional portable panel integration  

Single-Fuel-Source Efficiency

Whether boondocking in the backcountry or darting off to the next pickleball tournament, Interstate 19GT’s efficiency will keep you going, even when you have lots of time away from shore power. From the refrigerator and microwave to the water heater, furnace, and induction cooktop in the galley, the appliances in Interstate 19GT are all powered by electricity. The van’s powerful inverter and huge lithium battery bank allow owners to operate all functions even when far from shore power. Like the innovative Airstream Trade Wind^® Travel Trailer that preceded it, the Interstate 19GT easily runs appliances while backcountry camping or going off-grid on a pristine beach. No matter if you’re a professional athlete or a part-time adventure-seeker, rest is crucial. For those who value rest as much as action, Interstate 19GT has the largest bed in its class. The power sofa and side seats convert into a sleeping space, so you get the best of both worlds. Relax or catch up on emails on the sofa during the day, then push a button and the sofa becomes completely flat. The side seats hinge and lie flat as well, so the entire rear of the coach becomes a comfortable bed – and at 66” x 73” it’s the largest bed you’ll find in a Class B RV.
