Ansley RV is a family owned and operated RV dealership in Central Pennsylvania. William Ansley Sr. and his partner, Jack Lewis, founded the dealership in 1947 as a used car and truck operation. The business’s location hasn’t changed since 1950, still settled between historic Hollidaysburg, and Altoona. Operating as Ansley & Lewis throughout the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s, we cultivated our reputation as a friendly, inviting place to make a purchase.
When Jack Lewis retired in the late 60’s, Bill Ansley Jr. took a more active role in the company. He began purchasing shares of the business while Bill Ansley Sr. enjoyed the RV lifestyle, traveling between Pennsylvania and Florida. As sole owner, Bill Jr. taught Bill III and Marc the RV business, and the importance of excellent customer service. In the early 90’s, Ansley & Lewis officially became Ansley RV.
Ansley RV continued to stock and sell hundreds of recreational vehicles a year, progressing into a full line dealership. The dealership offers full servicing/parts of all types of RV’s, including; travel trailers, fifth wheels, toy haulers, hybrid trailers, Class A, B, and C motorhomes, diesel pushers, and Pop-Up campers.

Newmar Corporation initially recognized Ansley RV’s potential twelve years ago when presenting the dealership the CSI Award. The Customer Service Index (CSI) Award is presented to dealerships that scored in a predetermined percentile based on customer surveys. Ansley RV continued to deliver excellent customer service, gaining them the CSI Award for the twelfth straight year.
In conjunction with the CSI Award, Ansley RV gained Platinum Servicing Dealer status for the past four years. To qualify, a dealership must meet a stringent list of requirements including; having a CSI of 90% or above, passing tough facility evaluations, having a commitment to training, and employing a certain number of RVIA certified and Master certified technicians.
The Mahlon Miller Service Excellence Award, named after Newmar Corporation's founder, is awarded to two dealerships, one large market and one small market, every year. Like the CSI Award and Platinum Servicing Dealer, the Mahlon Miller Service Excellence Award is based off of the Customer Service Index, but represents the highest customer service percentage in a given market. Newmar Corporation offered the award since 2004; Ansley RV has won it five times, four of which were consecutive.
